This notice describes how we process your Personal Information if you use the ai.io Control Centre.

Our Privacy Promise

We promise: To be clear and open about how we collect and use your Information.

We’ve designed this Privacy Notice to be transparent and make it as easy to find out what information we collect and what we do with it.

The ai.io website is developed and owned by Project 23^rd Century Limited, t/a ai.io, which is the Controller of your Personal Information. This means we are responsible for the way we use your Information and for complying with the law, your Privacy Rights, and our Privacy Promise.

How do we collect and use your Information

We collect your username (usually your email address) and password to manage your unique, secure login to the Control Centre.

How long do we keep your Information?

Technical Support

If you contact us for technical support via the web form, we will store a record of this communication for 2 years in order to ensure that the issue has been dealt with to your satisfaction and that there are no secondary or related issues.

Your Privacy rights and how to exercise them

These are your legal rights and the data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), will help you to enforce them if we slip up.

Right of access – we will provide you with the Information we hold
Right to have inaccurate or out of date Information corrected
Right not to be profiled for marketing purposes
Right to prevent processing of your Information in certain circumstances
Right to have your Information deleted in certain circumstances
Right to transfer your Information to another provider
Right to unsubscribe from marketing messages and emails
If we have asked for your consent, the right to withdraw it at any time
Right to make a complaint to the ICO (see below).

If you are under 13 you can contact us yourself or ask your guardian or parent to do it for you.

We’ll reply straight away and let you know if we need anything else from you. We have to respond to requests without delay and no later than a month.

If we take more than a month or if you are unhappy with our response, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Why is it lawful for us to use your information in this way?

Information you give us

When you request technical assistance, we need to collect, use and retain details such as your name, contact details, details of your device and the issues you have reported, in order to provide you with the support you need while using the Control Centre.

The legal basis for this is Legitimate Interests of your employer and of ai.io, because we have a legitimate interest in providing the contracted service to your employer.

Cookies

The legal basis for our use of cookies is Consent. You can modify your cookie consent from within the cookie settings bar, which can be accessed via our Cookie Notice in the “Manage Cookie Preferences” section, by clicking on the “Cookie Settings”button.

Who do we share your Information with?

Technical support and Enquiries

We share your Information internally between colleagues as necessary to respond to your enquiry. It may also be accessed by our IT support team and external service providers to provide the ai.io website services, fix technical problems and maintain systems.

If Project 23rd Century is merged with or acquired by a third party, we will share your Information with them so they can continue processing it as described in this notice.

If required by law, we will provide information to government, judicial or law enforcement agencies and, in exceptional circumstances, this could include Information about you.
